Women's day 🌸

Hey hi! Happy Women’s Day to all the wonderful women. Take a moment to pause, breathe for yourself, and remember yourself in the middle of your busy life as a woman.

I’d like to share my beautiful Women’s Day experience with you all.

Today I dressed up in a pretty blue dress , a new one  and headed to my academy for my work as a trainer.

I reached early, and my classes went smoothly. Soon the clock struck 11, and it was time for my lovely kids to arrive for their session. They all came and sat in their places with smiling faces. But I noticed three kids who looked a little different, curious and excited, hiding something behind their backs. I didn’t ask them what it was.

Suddenly, a girl walked towards me with a big smile, her hands still hidden behind her, and handed me a handmade Women’s Day card. It had her own words and a drawing of me wearing a crown. I never expected such a sweet gift from such a small child. We meet only once a week in class, yet she remembered me, spent time thinking about me, and made that card with so much effort, even drawing me herself.🫠

At that moment, I felt like I had truly won as a teacher. It felt like a personal accomplishment.

What surprised me even more was that she had drawn me wearing a deep blue dress ; the same colour I was wearing today. I had never worn this shade before; When I asked her how she guessed it, she simply said, “I expected you to come in this colour.” I was amazed.

Then another boy came forward and gave me a piece of cake. After that, the smallest child in my class came to me and softly said “Happy Women’s Day.” The word woman trembled in his tiny, lullaby-like voice while he smiled brightly and shook my hand,as if he prepared these lines all night.💫🫠

It felt like one of my greatest achievements.✨

And the surprise didn’t end there. Usually, the kids prepare two stories or speeches to narrate in Shelby every Sunday. But today, that same little girl who gave me a card prepared a speech about me and delivered it in front of everyone.I was again on top the world..

The way the other kids smiled and reacted when she said “Veena ma’am” made me feel truly blessed. It became a moment I will always remember.🤩🤩

No matter how expensive the gifts are or how grand the wishes may be, the love, effort, and genuine affection from children can never be compared to anything else.

Feeling very happy to celebrate this Women’s Day at Shelby.

Happy Women’s Day !!!🌸
