Maxims of a true heart

 Hello everyone,

Recently, I happened to read a poem from the book" Silhouettes of Solitude". While going through the book, this particular piece gently caught hold of my thoughts and somehow, it didn’t feel like leaving. Its presence stayed with me, and I felt the need to share its essence.

It’s a short poem, just twelve lines but those twelve lines carried huge weight. They were simple in form, yet powerful in feeling. The poem feels very direct, almost like the poet is deliberately reaching out to the reader, without hiding behind complex metaphors.

The poem begins with the word “Belief,” and interestingly, it's mentioned twice. But more than just repetition, the entire poem revolves around this quiet yet strong concept of belief especially self belief.

What moved me most was a sudden shift in tone. The poet, who starts off bold and optimistic, suddenly becomes vulnerable almost childlike. There’s a soft cry for love and patience, hinting at an unresolved past and chaos. For a moment, the poet seems withdrawn from the world, caught in some emotional silence. In the final couplet, there's a remarkable turnaround, suggesting the readers that these are the “Maxims of the true heart ”

The poet reclaims hope and urges the reader to face the world with courage and clarity. This is where the whole aesthetics of poem is..

This poem is a crisp slice of reality. It’s inspiring and deeply moving. For me, the greatest takeaway is that,

Sometimes, a few honest words can speak louder than endless paragraphs..

And here is the title of the poem: "Maxims of a true heart"

And I communicate with your minds through my thoughts ✌️💫
